Tiny Bar PVD
Menu Evolution

Freelance Designer | 2019 – 2025

Serving as the sole designer from Tiny Bar’s high-profile debut in the Jewelry District to its final service, I managed the visual evolution of a brand that became a Providence staple. Over the years, the menu shifted from a static launch document into a dynamic, seasonal storytelling tool.

The Blueprint

The initial menu was engineered for high-impact minimalism. In a literal "tiny" space, the menu had to be physically small but typographically bold. I established a clean, high-contrast grid that prioritized legibility in low-light environments, setting the tone for the brand’s industrial-chic identity.

The Iterative Shift

As the bar’s cocktail program gained a cult following, the menu evolved to match.
I developed a modular production workflow to handle rapid-fire seasonal changes.

The Legacy

In the final year, the menus became a commemorative piece. I leaned into more editorial layouts, treating the final beverage programs as "Greatest Hits" collections. The collateral shifted from a functional service tool to a tactile keepsake.
